How a wager works
You and another eligible player each put the same stake into script-controlled Ark escrow. The race is skill-based: players race the same car, rules, and track seed where applicable, and the higher validated score wins. If the race cannot safely finish, the app shows a recovery step instead of asking you to guess.
RyRacer keeps 2.1% of a single-winner wager pot; winner receives 97.9% before network/provider fees. Ties/refunds have no platform fee.
Eligibility
Wagers are available only in allowed jurisdictions under the current server-side compliance posture. You must meet the age, terms, and location requirements before funding.
Self-custody
RyRacer does not custody player funds or browser wallet keys. Your browser wallet key signs wager escrow actions; back it up before funding because site-data loss can permanently lose wallet funds.
Fees and cap
The platform fee is 2.1% of single-winner pots before network/provider fees. Ties and refunds have no platform fee. The public production per-player cap is 10,000 sats only when server-side gates allow it.
Lightning
Lightning can fund a match or withdraw winnings through Boltz. Pay once, keep the tab open, and if a withdrawal status is unclear, check the receiving wallet and refresh this browser wallet before retrying.
If your opponent ghosts
The match expires. Do not send more money to that match. The page will tell you whether anything needs recovery.
If you close the tab
Reopen the match link in the same browser wallet. The app can continue from the latest recorded state.
Risk and recovery
Real sats are at risk. Payouts and refunds can be delayed by wallet, Lightning, Ark, Boltz, hosting, or operator issues. Keep the match ID and wallet backup available for support.
